Oftentimes we get questions in Facebook groups about inflammation.
Can homeopathy help with inflammation?
The short answer is yes.
Homeopathic remedies are designed to raise your vitality.
So you feel better and become more resilient.
Anything that improves your health should undoubtedly help balance your level of inflammation.
But we don’t treat inflammation in isolation.
Instead, we treat the whole person.
It’s often been said that excess inflammation is the root cause of disease.
If you’re living with chronic disease, you’re living with excess inflammation.
Various homeopathic remedies can be given, based upon your particular symptoms.
As you feel better, your metabolism becomes more balanced.
Homeopathy was immensely helpful when I was sick.
My chronic back pain came on pretty suddenly.
Then, it progressed at lightning-like speed.
If something hadn’t changed, I probably would have ended up in a wheelchair, or worse.
The root of the problem was excess inflammation.
(Possibly fueled by negative emotions.)
Inflammation is something we all have.
Inflammation is life-sustaining.
It’s what heals our bodies when we have a wound.
It’s what helps us recover when we’re sick.
But out-of-control inflammation causes poor health.
Fortunately, I decided to overhaul my lifestyle.
I began eating whole organic foods.
And I started to get serious about natural living.
This meant toxic cleaning products and cosmetics had to go.
Stressful situations were not my friend and I had to avoid them.
Homeopathy played a big part in my recovery.
At first, I didn’t have a homeopath.
Because back in those days it was hard to find a homeopath.
There were no Facebook homeopathy groups.
Many homeopaths didn’t advertise and it was strictly word-of-mouth referrals.
So I treated myself.
Out of necessity. Until I could find a professional.
I had been studying homeopathy on and off for more than a decade, before I got sick.
We did have a homeopath when my children were little but I was no longer able to work with her.
So I was well aware that homeopathy can be very effective.
But only if the right remedies are chosen. Then they must be taken correctly.
It’s definitely not a do-it-yourself therapy, despite what anyone may tell you.
On my own, I had limited success.
I did manage to find the right remedies.
But I took them way too often, a classic beginner’s mistake.
(This was before I became a homeopath myself.)

Finally, when I found a good homeopath (she was the best in the world), she taught me that less is more when it comes to homeopathy.
If you take too much of a particular remedy, it can increase the symptoms you’re trying to eliminate.
The people who dismiss homeopathy as “unproven” have obviously never lived through an “aggravation,” caused by too liberal dosing.
Please understand that I’m not a doctor. (I’m a certified homeopathic educator.)
After I met my amazing homeopath a number of years ago I decided to get certified so I can help others.
However, I can’t give medical advice, or promise that anything I did to recover will work for you.
I’m simply sharing my own story, of how I was helped by this 200-year-old method of healing.
Homeopathic Treatments for Inflammation
The one drawback of homeopathy, which, for me, was amazingly effective, is that you have to know what you’re doing.
If not, you need to work with an expert.
In my case, recovery was a long-drawn out process. That’s probably because I had a chronic illness, which was years in the making. In addition to using the right homeopathic remedies, I had to do a lot of other things to regain my health. These included cutting certain foods out of my diet. I also used a lot of herbal remedies and essential oils. If you’d like to know more about what I did to regain my health, you can read about it in an easy-to-follow online course. This is designed to be shared with your regular physician, so you can design your own natural healing protocol.
Can Homeopathy Help Chronic Inflammation?
What happened is that I gradually got better. Suddenly, I could walk up the stairs using alternating feet. One day I realized I could walk across the room again, without wondering if I’d make it from Point A to Point B. At some point, I was able to carry heavy objects again. I can now take long hikes in the woods.
A watershed moment happened seven years ago. We went on a family vacation to a new city. I realized I had been walking around for hours.
Homeopathic Remedies for Inflammation Pain
All of this took time, but it happened. Sometimes, health wise, I’d down some blind alleyways. But the general trend was that I started having more good days than bad.
I firmly believe conventional homeopathy helped me recover from chronic and severely painful nerve inflammation. It’s a form of treatment I highly recommend.
However, it’s difficult finding a practitioner. Not all of them advertise. Inquiring at your local health food store might be a way to locate a homeopath. Or, if you know a good chiropractor, he or she might be able to recommend someone.
There are also some great books on homeopathy, so you can learn more about the various remedies. Here is one I own myself.
Bach Natural Stress Relief
However, there is another type of homeopathy that’s more user friendly. If you don’t have a professional homeopathic to take your case, an easier approach might be using Bach Flower essences. These gentle remedies were developed by a British medical doctor turned homeopath.
Made from flowers, each of the 38 Bach essences is designed to address a specific emotional state. Dr. Bach believed that if you could heal the mind, better health would follow.
He was also convinced that negative emotions can cause disease.
Bach Flower Remedies for Inflammation Pain
In addition to regular homeopathy, I’ve also used flower essences to ease my worries and anxieties. I’ve noticed they also seems to improve my physical health.
For anyone suffering from a chronic condition, which invariably involves excess inflammation, these essences may be a good addition to your natural medicine cabinet. You can easily select a remedy (or remedies) that match your emotional state. If you don’t know where to find Bach Flower Essences, they’re available here.
