Homeopathy was immensely helpful when I was hit with a crippling nerve disease. This condition came on pretty suddenly. It progressed at lightning-like speed. If something hadn’t changed, I probably would have ended up in a wheelchair, or worse.
Fortunately, I decided to overhaul my lifestyle. I began eating whole organic foods. And I started using natural remedies, including homeopathy.
At first, I didn’t have a homeopath. So I treated myself. I had been studying homeopathy on and off for more than a decade, before I got sick. So I was well aware of that this healing method can be very effective. But only if the right remedies are chosen. Then they must be taken correctly. It’s definitely not a do-it-yourself therapy, despite what anyone may tell you.
On my own, I had limited success. I did manage to find the right remedies. But I took them way too often, a classic beginner’s mistake.

Finally, when I found a good homeopath (I think she’s the best in the world), she taught me that less is more when it comes to homeopathy.
If you take too much of a particular remedy, it can increase the symptoms you’re trying to eliminate. The people who dismiss homeopathy as “unproven” have obviously never lived through an “aggravation,” caused by too liberal dosing.

The one drawback of homeopathy, which, for me, was amazingly effective, is that you have to know what you’re doing. If not, you need to work with an expert. Unfortunately, good homeopaths are hard to find.
In my case, recovery was a long-drawn out process. That’s probably because I had a chronic illness, which was years in the making. In addition to using the right homeopathic remedies, I had to do a lot of other things to regain my health. These included cutting certain foods out of my diet. Can Homeopathy Help Chronic Inflammation?
What happened is that I gradually got better. Suddenly, I could walk up the stairs using alternating feet. One day I realized I could walk across the room again, without wondering if I’d make it from Point A to Point B. At some point, I was able to carry heavy objects again. Walking around the block is now possible.
A watershed moment happened three years ago. We went on a family vacation to a new city. I realized I had been walking around for hours.
Homeopathic Remedies for Inflammation Pain
All of this took time, but it happened. Sometimes, healthwise, I’d down some blind alleyways. But the general trend was that I started having more good days than bad.
I firmly believe conventional homeopathy helped me recover from chronic and severely painful nerve inflammation. It’s a form of treatment I highly recommend.
However, it’s difficult finding a practitioner. Not all of them advertise. Inquiring at your local health food store might be a way to locate a homeopath. Or, if you know a good chiropractor, he or she might be able to recommend someone.

However, there is another type of homeopathy that’s more user friendly. If you don’t have a professional homeopathic to take your case, an easier approach might be using Bach Flower essences. These gentle remedies were developed by a British medical doctor turned homeopath.
Made from flowers, each of the 38 Bach essences is designed to address a specific emotional state. Dr. Bach believed that if you could heal the mind, better health would follow.
He was also convinced that negative emotions can cause disease.

In addition to regular homeopathy, I’ve also used flower essences to ease my worries and anxieties. I’ve noticed they also seems to improve my physical health.
