Now Foods is a leader in the supplement and essential oil industry. I personally own a number of the oils sold by this company. I’ve been really happy with the quality.

Now oils are made from plants grown without pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers, according to its website. This family-run company, based in Illinois, has been selling natural health products for 45 years. It’s also known for its essential oil diffusers. In fact, I think I’ve more Now diffusers online and in brick-and-mortar health foods stores than any other brand.
Now Essential Oil Diffuser
Now makes several styles of essential oil diffusers. Cold-air diffusers are very useful, because they can be used to deliver the healing, aromatic particles into your lungs, so they can then travel to your bloodstream. It’s widely believed this is one of the quickest and easiest ways to enjoy the potential medicinal benefits of these highly concentrated oils.
This is also a very efficient way to deliver these compounds right where they can do their job, especially if you are fighting a cold or suffering from seasonal allergies. In fact, there are a number of essential oil respiratory blends available, which are intended to work in a diffuser to relieve your sinus congestion.
I like to diffuse oils at night, after a long day of work. Close to bedtime, I choose soothing scents, such as lavender. Now Foods also makes a special Peaceful Sleep blend made with lavender, orange, tangerine, chamomile, ylang ylang and sandlewood oils.
Because essential oils are so strong, you need a method of delivering them, other than putting them undiluted on your skin. This is always a bad idea, despite what you may hear from various well-intentioned but misinformed people selling aromatic oils. If you want to use essential oils for massage, it’s necessary to mix them with a neutral carrier first. The two main ways to use aromatics is to put them in a carrier oil, or in a diffuser.

Ultrasonic Oil Diffuser Now Foods
Although this diffuser seen in the picture is shown in white, it does change colors. It features six colors that rotate, which, in addition to the fragrance, helps set the mood.
This four-hour diffuser does not use heat and its plastic parts are made without Bishphenol A, or BPA. It automatically turns itself off when the water well is empty. Diffusers make great gifts for people who are health conscious or who like to use natural remedies.

Now Wood Grain Diffuser
The diffuser pictured here has a wood-grain style finish, and inside, will glow in various colors as it sends minute particles of essential oil into the air. Putting your essential oils in a diffuser about a half hour before company arrives is one of the best ways to make your house smell fresh, without using toxic chemicals. This diffuser is long acting, designed to run up to eight hours.
Like the model shown above, this is a cold-air diffuser. Many people prefer this method to deploy their oils, since the aromatic molecules are not broken down by heat.

Car Diffuser for Essential Oils
This is the same diffuser shown in the first picture, except that it comes with a car diffuser so you can enjoy your favorite scents either at home or while on the road. The small unit shown at the bottom left of the picture below can be plugged into your cigarette lighter. Instead of adding water to a well, as you’d do with a cold-air home model, you add a few drops of essential oil to a special pad, which is inserted into the diffuser.
