    Plant Guru Products

November 24, 2015 in Essential Oils

    Plant Guru products

Plant Guru is definitely a good option if you don’t want to buy multilevel marekting oils. Not everyone likes to shop this way. I know I don’t. I don’t want to deal with sales pressure. All I want to do is buu good oils, without the hassle of monthly minimums.

The good news is that we have a lot of other options, including Plant Guru.

    Are Plant Guru Oils Good?

    (This post contains affiliate links.)

Plant Guru sells single essential oils and blends, as well as a full line of carrier oils. Carrier oils are extremely important. When I was brand new to aromatherapy, I didn’t fully appreciate them. Now I know they’re necessary. Carriers play a vital medicinal role.

Aromatherapists use carriers during massage. One of their functions, implied by their name, is to “carry” the essential oil compounds into our body.

Also, carrier oils make aromatherapy safe. It’s usually a bad idea to apply essential oils directly to your skin. That’s because they’re so strong they can burn it. Or you could develop a sensitivity to a particular oil. It’s believed carrier oils greatly reduce this risk.

There are many essential oil companies. Plant Guru has distinguished itself by offering dozens of different types of carrier oils, depending upon your needs. (Certain carriers have their own unique health benefits.) It also sells a collection of carrier oils, which you can see below. These four-ounce bottles shown here should last a long time.

This company also sells it own line of essential oils. The selection is large, and includes some of the more unusual oils that you might have trouble finding elsewhere. I buy my own oils from different companies. So I’m always eager to try various brands.

Essential oils are becoming increasingly popular with people trying to find an alternative to pharmaceuticals. I’ve ordered the Stress Relief Synergy Blend. This is a mix of bergamot, patchouli, sweet orange, ylang ylang, pink grapefruit and gurjum essential oils.

Stress Relief has a sweet, but very pleasant, smell, and it really does seem to take the edge off. Bergamot is noted for being a natural stress reliever, as are the other oils in this blend. I was so happy when it arrived, because my other brand of anti-stress oils was running low.

I did notice my Plant Guru blend comes out of the bottle rather quickly. So I’ll have to be careful when pouring. Otherwise, I was really happy with the Stress Relief formula and likely order it again.

Plant Guru’s website says that it strives to offer provide the finest-quality ingredients “with no gimmicks.” The website also states that this online enterprise does not sell through multilevel marketing channels.

Plant Guru oils are 100 percent pure. They are considered “therapeutic grade.” I’m not crazy about this term, but if I don’t throw it out, someone may wonder. That’s because there’s no board that certifies if an oil meets this criteria, which has come to mean no fillers or chemicals are added.

I buy a lot of oils for personal use. Rarely do I get them from MLM sources. I’ve found so many good products sold by other companies. So I like to tell others about them. Plant Guru is another option if you’re looking to go outside the MLM networks. Essential oils have helped me so much. So, naturally, I want to spread the word.

The Plant Guru gift set, which you can see below, contains six aromatic blends designed for specific conditions, such as sleep, stress relief, muscle aches and germ fighting. This set includes IV Thieves blend, a recipe modeled after four Medieval thieves who survived a plague, while robbing the sick. They were protected by a special aromatic recipe, according to this ancient legend.

    Plant Guru Ylang Ylang

Ylang Ylang oil is derived from a flowering plant native to the Philippines. It is often used as a natural sedative or sleep aid. It also makes your home smell heavenly, if you put this oil in a diffuser.

Some aromatherapists also recommend ylang ylang to help balance the hormones. It is also very good for the skin. Diluted, some people use it as a remedy for eczema, or to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It’s also said to be good for boosting the immune system when fighting upper respiratory infections.

Ylang Ylang essential oil has a reputation of being able to reduce stress. Some time back, I sent some to my elderly Mom, who lives far away. Right now, she’s raising two teenagers. I hope this aromatic oil can help her relax and unwind.
